Frequently Asked Questions

What is a keepsake urn used for?

A keepsake urn holds a small portion of ashes, here 4 cubic inches. Families use them to share remains among siblings or children, or to keep a part at home after a burial or scattering.

How do I put ashes inside?

Work over a clean sheet of paper. Open the keepsake, spoon in a small amount using a funnel, and close it securely. Some families add a drop of sealant to keep it closed for good.

How should I clean the Dover Brass Keepsake?

A soft microfiber cloth is all it needs. Skip polishes and household cleaners, and keep it away from damp areas.

When will my order ship?
